Utkinton and Cotebrook Parish Council

The Parish Council has a new  Councillor – Tony Burford from Cotebrook and his input will be welcome in the coming months and years.  We still want another Councillor and would welcome any resident who is interested in giving around thirty hours each year.

Vacancy – Parish Clerk
We are recruiting a new Parish Clerk – if you are interested in finding out more, please log on to our website, there is a notice there with what to do.
Our new website has begun to attract visitors and comments have been good – we hope you find it informative.  One area we are seeking to introduce is an ‘Online Directory’ of all the businesses that operate within the Parish – our initial research showed almost 100 business.  Please visit the website and our Facebook pages to give us any feedback.

Utkinton Tennis and Sports Club
As we move into summer, Utkinton Tennis Club would welcome new members and details can be found on our website – they have an excellent outdoor, multi-sport court equipped for tennis, five-a-side football and netball.

Parish Council Meeting – Highways Question Time
Our next meeting is at Utkinton Village Hall on 12th April and you are welcome to come and participate in the open session at the beginning – we like to feel we reflect your views and welcome them.  The Parish Council is hosting the Highways Team from CWaC at our next meeting – if you would like to attend and have a burning issue about roads and safety in the Parish to raise (not potholes and minor repairs as these can be raised on the CWaC website) then please let us know your question / issue in advance and join us for an hour at 19:30.
