The champion chefs of Year 11

Year 11 students entered their final Cook Off competition last term and yet again surpassed all expectations.

Four tutor groups entered the competition to create and prepare a three course meal in one hour. Judges were treated to a range of dishes including artichoke and cream cheese dip with a range of crudities, Moroccan spicy chicken and melt in the middle chocolate pudding.

The standard was excellent and all students took the competition very seriously with a tense atmosphere before the results. The 11AW team of Eilidh Bodfish, Sally Heath, Lucy O’Neill and Rachel Overy retained their title as champions for the final year, having won overall menu in all previous events.

Also, congratulations to Ben Steward, Olivia Taylor and Charlotte-Thomas Wood for finishing second and to the two runner up groups; Poppi Dickins, Meg Challoner, Luci Hartwell, Zak Burras-Stubbs and James Ryder.
