CHILDREN who took up the spine-tingling 2013 Summer Reading Challenge at Tattenhall Library were presented with their medals last month.
Many families also took part in a range of free activities with the theme ‘Creepy House’, organised by the library to encourage them on to the finishing line.
Children chose their own six books to read from the selection available, collected stickers
and discovered the secrets of Creepy House and met some of the hair-raising residents. Each child that completed the venture was presented with a medal and certificate at a special award ceremony.
