Tattenhall Rainbows become good neigh-bours!

When the Tattenhall Rainbows decided that they would like to do a project on ‘Animals’, adopting an animal was on top of the ‘To Do’ list. Therefore, imagine the delight when they realised that their neighbours, Cheshire Ice Cream Farm, had introduced an adoption scheme recently.
The girls were already hg fans of the ice cream so now they would have even more reason to visit the farm. The only dilemma came when trying to choose which animal to adopt. Would it be George the Micro Pig, Elvis the Deer or Poppy the Foal? Eventually, it was decided on a voting system and Poppy the Foal was the lucky chosen one!
When the Rainbows took a trip to the farm, they were lucky enough to be shown around by Anna who runs the farm, where she entertained the Rainbows with tales about how she expertly looks after and cares for each and every one of the animals. The Rainbows were also thrilled to meet two-day-old piglets and new born rabbits too! However, the star of the show was Poppy the Foal, who thought Christmas had come early as she met her new adopted friends and was showered with hugs and admiration! To show her appreciation, Poppy awarded each Rainbow with a certificate of adoption and an activity pack to help the young girls learn about the workings of the farm.
The Rainbows now look forward to a summer holiday where they are able to visit Poppy (and have an ice cream?) whenever they wish… and Poppy is looking forward to that too!
